Originally from Los Angeles, Dinah began her dance training at the Yvonne Cusack Ballet Center. After graduating from Virginia School of the Arts she earned her BA in Dance Performance and Choreography at Goucher College. She has danced professionally with the Ballet Theater of Maryland (formerly Ballet Theater of Annapolis), The Baltimore Opera, Kimberly Mackin Dance Company, Off-Center Dance Theater, Concordance Contemporary, and as an independent performing artist. Her choreography credits include original works for the University of Virginia dance program, Albemarle Ballet Theatre, Charlottesville Ballet, Creative Edge Dance Studio, The White Mountain School, TASIS Portugal, and musical theater productions for the University of Virginia Department of Drama. She has performed in works set by Doug Varone, Mark Dendy, Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Ib Andersen, Christopher D'Amboise, John Clifford, Eddie Stewart, Petrus Bosman, David Keener, Lesa McLaughlin, Gus Solomons, Jr., and Rhonda Miller, among others. Dinah holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University and has been on faculty of the Charlottesville Ballet, the University of Virginia, Albemarle Ballet Theater, The White Mountain School, and TASIS Portugal.
